Easy peasy! To put an equation in slope-intercept form (y = mx + b), solve for y in terms of x. This means get y alone on one side of the equation. Then, identify your slope (m) and y-intercept (b).

From personal experience, start by rearranging the equation until y stands alone on one side. You'll end up with y = mx + b, where m is your slope and b is your y-intercept. It's super useful for graphing!
