Just go into build mode, select the light or item, and place it on the ceiling grid. Simple as that!
First-hand experience here! I had the same question and learned that you need to be in Build Mode. Select a ceiling fixture鈥攍ike lights or fans鈥攁nd then position it on the ceiling using the grid system that appears.
Honestly, you can't just place any item on the ceiling. Only certain items, like ceiling lights and fans, are meant to go up there.
