How to put Windows on Steam Deck
ConcludingDisc路7 months agoGetting Windows on your Steam Deck is like decking out a gaming rig in portable form! First up, grab a USB drive with at least 8GB space. You're gonna need to download the Windows 10 (or 11, your choice!) ISO file directly from Microsoft's website. Flash this ISO onto the USB drive using a tool like Rufus to make it bootable. Then, stick that USB into your Steam Deck, power it up and hold down the Volume Down button until the boot menu pops up. Select your USB drive, and follow the prompts to install Windows. Remember, you'll be waving goodbye to SteamOS, but hey, Windows on the go!

Just don't. Installing Windows on a Steam Deck takes away its soul. It's like buying a sports car and using it to deliver pizzas.
Done it! It's a bit of a process but totally worth it. I followed a YouTube tutorial step by step. Make sure you back up your games because switching to Windows erases everything. But the payoff? Huge! Windows games that aren't on Steam plus all my Steam games? Chef's kiss!
