Getting Windows on your Steam Deck is like decking out a gaming rig in portable form! First up, grab a USB drive with at least 8GB space. You're gonna need to download the Windows 10 (or 11, your choice!) ISO file directly from Microsoft's website. Flash this ISO onto the USB drive using a tool like Rufus to make it bootable. Then, stick that USB into your Steam Deck, power it up and hold down the Volume Down button until the boot menu pops up. Select your USB drive, and follow the prompts to install Windows. Remember, you'll be waving goodbye to SteamOS, but hey, Windows on the go!

Just don't. Installing Windows on a Steam Deck takes away its soul. It's like buying a sports car and using it to deliver pizzas.

Done it! It's a bit of a process but totally worth it. I followed a YouTube tutorial step by step. Make sure you back up your games because switching to Windows erases everything. But the payoff? Huge! Windows games that aren't on Steam plus all my Steam games? Chef's kiss!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
