Each element is in a cell; the top number is the atomic number, the symbol is the abbreviation, and the bottom is the atomic weight. Groups (columns) share properties. Easy peasy!

Just focus on the atomic number on top, the element symbol in the middle, and the atomic weight below. The position tells you if it's a metal, non-metal, or metalloid. Simple as that!

Fun fact: The elements in the same group (vertical columns) often react similarly. So, if you know one, you kinda know them all!
