lol just flip the card and look for the '1' symbol dude, it ain't rocket science. But remember, not all Pokémon sets have first editions, so don’t get duped into buying something that never existed!

Easy peasy! Look for a tiny 'Edition 1' symbol on the card, usually found on the lower left corner of the illustration. It's like a little badge of honor that says 'I'm one of the first!' Plus, don't forget to check the card's condition. First editions in mint condition are the real MVPs in the world of Pokémon TCG.

First edition Pokémon cards are basically the OGs. Find the 'Edition 1' symbol near the picture. No symbol, no first edition. Simple as that. But beware of fakes; some folks are sneaky!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
