First, turn on your Xbox and your controller. Press the sync button on both the console and the controller until the controller's Xbox button flashes. Once it stays lit, you're good to go!

Easy peasy! Just press the Xbox button on the controller to turn it on, then hold the sync button until the Xbox button starts flashing. Do the same on the console, and they should connect automatically.

Speaking from experience, you just need to press the sync button on both the controller and the console. Did this last week and it worked like a charm!
