In Valheim, you can destroy unwanted items by dragging them out of your inventory and dropping them. They'll despawn eventually. Use campfires to burn wooden items instantly.

You can't actually 'recycle' items in Valheim, but you can discard them by right-clicking and destroying them from your inventory. Or, just toss them on the ground and let Odin handle it!
