Steam makes it too easy to spend my money, lol. But yeah, activating a key is painless. Just follow the steps in your Steam client under 'Activate a Product on Steam.' Done it a million times for indie games I can't resist.
Honestly, just type your key into the 'Activate a Product on Steam' dialogue and hit enter. If it's legit, Steam does the rest.
