To drop your wanted level in GTA San Andreas, you've got a few options. The classic is to find and pick up police bribes scattered around the city; each one reduces your wanted level by one star. If you're near a Pay 'n' Spray, drive a car in for a quick respray, and your stars will drop as long as the cops didn't see you enter. Last resort? Just keep out of sight and lay low for a while - eventually, the heat will die down.
If you're really in a pinch, save your game at a safe house. It resets your wanted level, but use it as a last resort cause it's kinda like cheating, but not really.
Wearing a cop uniform also drops your wanted level, but you gotta unlock it first by dating Barbara. It鈥檚 a bit of a process, but hey, fashion has its perks!
