Soooo, basically if you gave someone a game on Steam and they haven't played it for more than 2 hours (or haven't added it to their library yet), you can get your money back. Just hit up your purchase history, find the game, and click 'request a refund'. Easy peasy.

To refund a Steam gift, first, the gift must not have been redeemed by the recipient. Then, the purchaser can go to their Steam account's 'Purchase History', find the gift, and click on 'Request a Refund'. Valve usually processes these requests pretty smoothly, as long as it's within the 14-day purchase window and the gift hasn't been used for more than two hours.

Good luck getting a refund if they've already downloaded it. Steam's policy is strict: no more than 2 hours of playtime and it has to be within 14 days of purchase. If they've added it to their library, it's a no-go.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
