Hey there! To remove chat, just go to the '≡' menu in the top right, then Settings, and toggle off the chat option. Easy peasy!

Well, if you really want peace and quiet, you can mute the chat by hitting the three dots (⋯) next to your chat window and selecting 'Mute Chat'. Works like a charm!
