Simply block the person you don't want as a follower, and they'll be removed from your followers list. Quick and simple!
I had to do this last week. Just head to settings, click 'Blocking', and add the person to your block list. Works like a charm!
Just turn your privacy settings to 'Friends' for posts if you want to stop random followers. Problem solved!
