Super easy! First, unplug your PS5. Then, with the console lying flat, grip the cover and slide it down and off. Voilà!

Just take the PS5, pop it on its side, and gently slide the cover off. Done and dusted.

Unplug, place it on a flat surface. Hold the top edge of the cover, give it a firm slide downwards. Comes off like magic!
