It's pretty simple! Turn off your PS4 completely and unplug it. Slide the hard drive bay cover off, unscrew the screw holding the hard drive in place, and then carefully pull the hard drive out. Easy peasy!

Unplug your PS4, slide the cover off, and remove the single screw holding the hard drive. The hard drive will then slide out.

PS4 hard drives are easy to remove. Turn off and unplug the console, slide off the hard drive bay cover, unscrew the drive, and pull it out.

I swapped my PS4 hard drive last month. Just turn off the PS4, unplug it, and remove the top cover. Then, unscrew the drive and pull it out. Took me like 5 minutes!

Make sure your PS4 is off and unplugged. Slide the top cover off, unscrew the single screw holding the hard drive caddy, and gently pull the caddy out. Piece of cake!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
