Check all cables and connections. Sometimes a loose cable can cause the Red Ring of Death (RRoD). Make sure everything's plugged in securely.
I fixed mine by wrapping the console in towels and leaving it running for a while, but it's risky and only a temporary fix.
Try a hard reset first: Turn off your Xbox 360, unplug all cables, wait about 10 minutes, then plug everything back in and power it on again.
Unfortunately, you might just need to send it in for repairs. The RRoD often means there's a hardware issue that DIY solutions can't fix.
