How to remove sharpie from Pokemon cards
RemovingMyth路7 months agoThe ultimate hack I found is using a bit of rubbing alcohol on a cotton swab. Gently dab on the sharpie marks, don't rub or you might damage the card. It works like a charm most of the time, but make sure to test on a less valuable card first!

Hair spray, surprisingly, works! Spritz a little on a paper towel and gently pat the marked area. Then use a clean, damp cloth to wipe away any residue. Worked for me when my little bro decided to 'autograph' my Charizard.
Honestly, just leave the marks. Trying to remove sharpie can do more harm than good. It adds 'character' to your card anyway. Who knows, maybe it'll be a rare collectible feature one day!
Lighter fluid is another option that can remove sharpie ink, but it's super risky. If you go this route, apply it very sparingly with a Q-tip. Honestly, it's a last resort because of the potential damage to the card's finish.
Magic eraser can sometimes do the trick, but be super careful. It's basically like fine sandpaper and can easily take off the card's finish along with the sharpie. Light, gentle touches only!
