First-hand advice here! After downloading custom skins for my tank, I just right-clicked the file, chose 'Rename', and bada bing, bada boom, new file name!

Renaming a file for War Thunder is super easy! Just find the file in File Explorer (or Finder on Mac), right-click it, select 'Rename', and type in the new name. Done!
