I had drift issues with my joystick, and opening up the controller and cleaning it with compressed air did the trick. You might need a Torx T8 screwdriver for this. Just be cautious and take pics of each step to remember where everything goes!

First, assess what鈥檚 broken. Common issues include stuck buttons, joystick drift, and battery problems. You can clean your controller with isopropyl alcohol and a cotton swab to unstick buttons. If it's a drift, try recalibrating it through your console settings. For battery issues, replace the battery pack or switch to rechargeable batteries.

Just buy a new one. Fixing it is too much hassle and often doesn't last long.

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
