First, try resetting your PS3 controller. Use a paperclip to press the small reset button on the back, then reconnect it to the console. If that doesn't work, it might be a battery issue. You can open the controller and replace the battery with a new one.

I fixed mine by re-soldering a loose connection inside. It's tricky but doable if you're comfortable with a soldering iron.

Sometimes just updating the PS3 firmware fixes controller issues. Go to 'Settings' > 'System Update' and check if there's an update available.

If your buttons are sticky or unresponsive, open the controller and clean it with isopropyl alcohol. Did wonders for me!

Honestly, sometimes it's easier to just buy a new controller. They're not that expensive anymore.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
