Had a similar issue once—turned out it was just overheating. Make sure your Xbox One has good ventilation and isn’t covered in dust. If it still acts up, maybe your power supply is the culprit. Try a new power brick if you have one handy.

Check the HDMI port and cables first. Sometimes it's just a loose connection causing all the annoyance.

First, try a hard reset by holding the power button for 10 seconds, then unplugging for another 10 seconds. Reconnect and power up. If that doesn't work, you might need to factory reset it through the settings menu, but beware you'll lose all installed games and data. If it’s hardware-related, consult a professional or reach out to Microsoft support!

Sell it and buy an Xbox Series X. Hot take, but hey, life’s too short for tech stress!

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
