First, you'll need a small Phillips screwdriver. Remove the four screws on the back of the controller, then gently pry it open using a plastic tool (like a guitar pick) to avoid damaging the casing. Disconnect the battery connector and replace it with a new one. Just reverse the steps to put it all back together!

Honestly, just watch a YouTube tutorial. Way easier to follow along with the visuals.

Trust me, it's easier than it sounds! Pop open the controller with a mini screwdriver, swap out the old battery for a new one, and screw it back together. Make sure you don't lose any screws!

I've done this a few times. Just unscrew, open, and swap the battery. Takes like 10 minutes tops if you're careful.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
