Alright, get ready for some console surgery! First, grab your tools (Torx screwdriver, thermal paste, and cleaning materials). Disassemble the Xbox 360 by removing the faceplate, screws, and case. Carefully take out the heatsink, clean off the old paste, then apply a pea-sized dot of new thermal paste on the CPU and GPU. Put everything back together and game on!

I recently did this on my old 360. Open it up, clean the old gunk off with isopropyl alcohol, then apply a small amount of fresh thermal paste on the processors. Reassemble everything carefully and you'll notice a cooler Xbox!

Yo it's simple! Just take it apart, clean off the old junk, slap on some new paste, and reassemble. Done deal!

First, power off and unplug the console. Carefully remove the case and disassemble to get to the heatsink. Clean old thermal paste, apply a new small amount, and reassemble. It鈥檚 all about patience!

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
