From my experience, just head over to your library in the app, find the book, tap on those three little dots, and hit 'Return Title.' Quick and simple!

Easy peasy! Open the Audible app, go to your library, tap on the three dots next to the book you want to return, and select 'Return Title.'
You can't return books on the app. You'll have to use the Audible website.
