Set up your defensive settings before the game, especially if you're playing against the AI. Setting 'deny' on ball handlers and 'tight' on shooters can really make a difference.

Switch to a 2-3 zone defense if fast breaks are your kryptonite! Also, don't forget to set your defensive settings to 'tight' on shooters to limit their open looks.

Man-to-man defense is pretty effective in NBA 2K17. Just be sure to manually contest shots and always have a hand up.

Defense is all about anticipation. Try to predict your opponent's moves and use the right stick for hands-up defense to avoid fouls.

Honestly, running defense just boils down to good ol' stick skills. Practice switching players quickly and using the right stick for hands-up defense.

If you're a NBA 2K player looking for extra VCs or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in  NBA 2K essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
