To save your progress in the Subnautica multiplayer mod, make sure the host of the game saves as they would in single-player mode. The host can save by pressing 'Esc' and selecting 'Save'.

Whoever is hosting the game has to save it. The other players can't save independently.

Just let the host save the game. Everyone else should just make sure they're ready for when the save happens.
