Screen recording on Steam isn't a built-in feature, so you're gonna need to use external software. Most people use OBS Studio for this; it's free, open-source, and pretty easy to set up. Just download OBS, set it up to capture your game window or entire screen, and hit record before you dive into your game. Easy peasy!

Honestly, just hit up OBS Studio and call it a day. It鈥檚 the Swiss Army knife of screen recording and streaming.

Guys, you're overthinking it. Just use Nvidia's GeForce Experience or AMD's ReLive if you have the right GPU. They're built for gaming and have screen recording features that work like a charm for Steam games.

If you鈥檙e looking for a quick and dirty solution, just use the Xbox Game Bar on Windows. Hit Win+G to open it, and you'll find a record option right there. It's not as fancy as OBS, but it gets the job done without downloading anything extra.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
