From my experience, paying close attention to your companions' reactions after actions or decisions is key. They often give hints about their feelings through comments. Also, once you max out affinity and earn their unique perk, the game will notify you. It's a bit of a guessing game until then, but that's part of the fun!

In Fallout 4, there's no direct menu option to check your companion's affinity level unfortunately. But, you can get a good idea based on their behavior and dialogue towards you. Companions will make comments or engage in unique dialogues as you reach certain affinity thresholds. Also, you'll get a notification when you've reached a 'Loved,' 'Liked,' or 'Disliked' status with them. Finally, reaching maximum affinity with a companion unlocks a special perk unique to them!

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
