Pro-tip: Check old conversations. If their name is now black text and you can't click on it, they've probably unfriended you.
Check your friends list! If their name isn't there, they're either sneaky ninjas or they've hit the unfriend button.
Search their name on Facebook. If you can't find their profile or it shows an 'Add Friend' button, mystery solved - you're unfriended.
