Selecting a team happens when you hit level 5 and visit a gym for the first time. Pick from Instinct, Mystic, or Valor!
Just hit level 5, go to your closest gym, and you’ll get to pick between Team Instinct (Yellow), Team Mystic (Blue), or Team Valor (Red). Easy peasy!
