To self-revive in Apex Legends, you need a 'Self-Revive' item known as the 'Knockdown Shield with Resurrection Ability.' Not all knockdown shields will do the trick; you have to find the gold one. When you're downed, you'll see a prompt to hold a button (it varies depending on your platform) to start the self-revive process. Remember, it takes a bit of time, and it's loud, so make sure you're hidden or it's safe!

Honestly, relying on a self-revive is a risky game plan. Yes, having that gold knockdown shield can clutch up a match, but good positioning and teamwork are your best bet. Don't get knocked down in the first place, lol.

Just grab a gold knockdown shield and you're good to go. When you're down, press the self-revive button, easy!

If you're a Apex Legends player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
