First, contact PlayStation Support to open a repair request. They'll guide you through troubleshooting steps and, if necessary, send you a shipping label. Pack your PS5 securely in its original box or a sturdy alternative, stick that label on, and ship it off!
I'd say skip trying to fix it yourself. Just call PlayStation Support and they'll handle it.
I've had to do this before: contact PlayStation Support, they'll troubleshoot with you, and if it still needs repair, they鈥檒l send you a shipping label. Pack it up carefully, slap the label on, and send it off!
