Hot take: Roblox should make gifting robux directly a feature already. For now, just buy your friend's item.
Unfortunately, there's no direct way to send robux. Have your friend create a game pass or some clothing. Then you buy it from their store.
Just had to do this last week. What you need to do is ask your friend to make a donation game pass or shirt, then buy it from them. Simple as that!
