Go to Options > Controller Settings > Change Input Type to DirectInput. Map your buttons and you're good to go!

Plug in your controller, open up Street Fighter V, and make sure to switch input from XInput to DirectInput in settings. Customize if needed!

Ensure your controller is properly detected by Windows first. Then, in SFV, head into Options -> Controller Settings -> Set your input type to DirectInput and customize your controls.

I have a DirectInput controller, and I had to manually map each button in Street Fighter V to get it working right. Check the game's controller settings after switching to DirectInput.
