Setting up a Pokemon card battle is actually super fun and easy! First, you and your opponent each need a deck of 60 Pokemon TCG cards. Make sure your decks have a good mix of Pokemon, Energy, and Trainer cards. Start by placing your deck face down and draw 7 cards to create your hand. Check for any Basic Pokemon and place one face down as your Active Pokemon, and you can also put some on your Bench. Flip a coin to see who goes first, then start your turn by drawing a card. From there, you can evolve Pokemon, play Trainer cards, attach Energy cards, and attack your opponent's Pokemon. The goal is to knock out your opponent's Pokemon to win Prize cards. Collect 6 Prize cards first, and you win the game!

Honestly, I think the most important part is having fun with it. Don't stress too much about winning or losing, especially if it's your first few games.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
