For digital games, you can set your friend's console as your primary PS4 or PS5. This way, they can download and play your games. Just be sure to trust the person since this also gives them access to your account!
Just go with PS Plus; it has a game library you can share with friends and family if they have their own subscription.
Why not just play the same game? Buy two copies, support the developers!
