Actually, mastering the timing for the shield is key! It's not just about pressing the button; timing your shield right before an attack hits can deflect spells back at the caster, giving you a major advantage in duels. Practice makes perfect, so don't be afraid to get into lots of duels to get your timing down.

To shield in Hogwarts Legacy, just press the shield button - it's that easy! On PlayStation, it's the L1 button, and on Xbox, you're looking at the LB button. This move is super handy to block incoming spells during duels or when you're sneaking around some not-so-friendly creatures in the Forbidden Forest.

Just spam the shield button, lol. Works every time.

I've been playing since Hogwarts Legacy dropped, and shielding has saved my skin more than a few times. Remember, some spells can't be blocked, so always be ready to dodge too!
