Not the advice you're looking for, but the best way to 'get' Pokemon cards without breaking the law is to save some cash or check if there's a local tournament where you might win some. Stealing isn't cool and it's definitely not worth the risk over Pokemon cards.

Absolutely don't. Getting caught shoplifting can lead to serious consequences, far worse than missing out on a few cards. Instead, keep an eye out for discounts or special deals at legit stores.
