Honestly, just do whatever shuffle you're comfortable with, as long as it mixes the deck well. I've seen players who only do overhand shuffles and still manage to have a well-mixed deck for gameplay. Just make sure you shuffle enough to properly randomize the deck!

The key to shuffling an MTG deck properly is to ensure you're mixing the cards well without damaging them. The 'riffle shuffle' is popular among players because it's effective and gentler on the cards than you might think. Just split your deck in half and gently let the cards interleave with each other from the corners. After a few riffles, do a couple of overhand shuffles for good measure. Remember, practice makes perfect!

Just mash those cards together – but gently! Seriously, the 'mash shuffle' is your friend. Hold half the deck in each hand, lightly mash the corners together, and let them mix. It's like the riffle but easier on the cards and your skills. Do it enough times, and your deck will be well mixed and ready for battle.

Riffle shuffling is overrated and risks bending your cards. Stick to mash or overhand shuffling to keep those precious cards in mint condition!
