Use the C-stick (right stick) to quickly perform a smash attack in any direction. It's as simple as flicking it!
Tilt the left stick in a direction and simultaneously tap the A button to execute a smash attack. Practice makes perfect!
Not everyone likes using the right stick for smashing. Try using the left stick and A button combo for more control.
