First, you'll need to build a Smelter! Gather 20 stone and 5 surtling cores. Place the Smelter near your base, then use it to smelt your ores into bars. Don't forget to add coal as fuel! Happy smelting, Viking!

Just make sure to kill some Surtlings for their cores and then gather stone for your Smelter. Easy peasy!
