Ah, the classic quest for Cthulhu in Terraria! But here's the twist: you can't actually spawn the big guy himself, because Cthulhu isn't a boss you can fight in the game. What you're likely thinking of is the Eye of Cthulhu, a boss that resembles a part of Cthulhu. To summon the Eye of Cthulhu, you need to gather Suspicious Looking Eyes at night or craft them with six Lenses at a Demon or Crimson Altar. Then, just use the item at night, and voila! Get ready for a showdown.

LOL, you can't summon Cthulhu in Terraria because he's not in the game. You might mean the Eye of Cthulhu. Just use a Suspicious Looking Eye at night, easy peasy.
