So, spawning the Traveling Merchant in Terraria isn't something you can do with a magic button. This dapper dude arrives randomly once you have at least 2 NPCs and there’s enough room for him to set up shop. Make sure your town is bustling and check regularly during daylight hours – he likes to make an entrance when the sun is up!

Hot take: Don’t stress about spawning the Traveling Merchant. Enjoy the game, explore, and he’ll show up when you least expect it. It’s all part of the adventure!

From personal experience, patience is key with the Traveling Merchant. He popped up in my game when I had a good number of NPCs settled in. Just focus on building your community and keep an eye out during the day. He's got some rare goods you don't wanna miss!

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
