Check the profile picture and cover photo鈥攕tock images or fake-looking photos are a red flag! Also, look at friends list to see if it's packed with random people.
I always Google profile pictures to see if they appear elsewhere. If it's stolen, you鈥檒l find it!
Look at mutual friends. If you don鈥檛 share any and the profile seems off, it鈥檚 probably fake.
