How to Spot a Fake Pokemon Card
EmptyingDaisy·7 months agoReal quick - if it's super cheap and seems too good to be true, it probably is. Stay skeptical, my friends.

I bought a bunch and learned the hard way. Always compare with an authentic card's weight and texture. Real ones have a specific heft and texture, fake ones just don't match up.
Easy! First off, the texture and color are big giveaways. Real Pokemon cards have a unique smooth finish and vibrant colors. Fakes often feel flimsy or have dull colors. Check the card border too – real ones have clean, even borders. Also, don't forget to look at the back of the card; the blue pattern should be consistent with legitimate cards. Lastly, the font and alignment of text can be off on fakes, so compare with a card known to be real if you're unsure!
