You can't start a gym from scratch in Pokémon GO, but you can take over existing gyms! Just find a gym around you, defeat the Pokémon defending it, and add your own Pokémon to claim it for your team. Easy peasy!

Gyms are pre-existing locations in Pokémon GO. You need to find one and battle any Pokémon there to take it over. Then, you can place your own Pokémon to defend it!

In Pokémon GO, you can't create a new gym. You have to find one on the map and conquer it by battling the Pokémon inside.

I had a blast taking over my first gym! Just find one nearby, battle the current defenders, and then you can place your Pokémon there to hold it down. Go team!

If you're a Pokemon GO! player looking for extra PokeCoins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Pokemon GO! essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
