In Starfield, to 'acquire' an enemy ship, weaken it in combat and then dock with it. Next, you'll need to neutralize any hostile crew on board. Once the ship is yours, you can fly it and even customize it at a shipyard!

I've snatched a couple of ships in Starfield. Just make sure you reduce their shields and engines first, then board and take control. It's like space piracy, but cooler!

In Starfield, you can't really 'steal' ships traditionally, but if you disable them and board, it's yours for the taking. Just mind the angry ex-owners!
