Just cancel it, dude. Go to Downloads, click on the game, and hit the big 'X' to stop it. No need to overthink it.

Super easy! Just open Steam, go to your 'Downloads' tab, and you'll see a list of your current downloads. Find the game download you want to stop, and there should be a 'Pause' button right next to it. Hit that, and you've successfully stopped the download. If you change your mind, just hit 'Resume' to get it going again.

Tried hitting it with a 'Pause' but forgot about it? Don't worry, happens to the best of us. Steam lets you resume or completely remove the download from the queue anytime. Super handy if your net decides to take a nap.

Honestly, just let it download. Stopping and starting downloads too much can mess with your files. Unless you're really strapped for bandwidth, just let Steam do its thing.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
