Go to Settings & Privacy > Settings > Privacy. Under 'How People Find and Contact You,' select 'Who can send you friend requests?' and choose 'Friends of Friends.'
Change your settings to 'Friends of Friends' and you'll see a drop in those random requests!
Block everyone. Just kidding! But really, updating your privacy settings works wonders to cut unwanted requests.
