Just unsubscribe from the emails directly by clicking 'Unsubscribe' at the bottom of a Facebook email. Done and done!
I went to Settings > Notifications > Email and turned off all the notifications I didn't want. It's like magic, no more emails!
Just block Facebook's email in your email settings. Problem solved!
