To halt the crimson spread in Terraria, start by digging a trench around it. This trench should be at least 6 blocks wide to prevent the crimson from jumping over. You can also line the trench with non-corruptible blocks like clay or crafted stone slabs for extra safety. Planting Sunflowers near the edges of the crimson can slow the spread too, but remember, these flowers only work on the surface. For an in-game solution, using the Clentaminator with Green Solution from the Steampunker NPC can purify large areas quickly. Finally, defeating Plantera in hard mode significantly slows down the spread of the crimson and other biomes, giving you a bit of breathing room.

Just move to another world. It's a big game, why stress over one crimson invasion?

Haha, just buy a bunch of Dynamite and go crazy blowing it all up. Not the most efficient, but definitely the most fun!
